Specifically, your company is using the AARP name on the webpage and in the meta-tags on the website referenced above. A copy of the web page source information is attached. Your use of the AARP name creates the false impression that AARP endorses your services.

AARP demands that you, your company, and any other person or business acting in concert with you permanently and immediately cease and desist all use of the mark AARP and any other confusingly similar marks, alone or in combination with any other word(s), term(s), symbol(s) and/or design(s), as well as all false and misleading statements that lead consumers to believe that your company is connected with or endorsed or approved by AARP, or that AARP has endorsed any product or service that you promote.

AARP takes this matter very seriously. Please respond only in writing to aarpmisuse@aarp.org or via facsimile to 202-434-2339. Please reference our file number in your correspondence. Telephone calls will not be accepted or returned. If you do not provide a written response within two (2) business days from the date of this letter, we may institute litigation against your company without further notice.

If one goes to www.intlisec.com and looks at the web page can any one construe that I am using the whogamacallit name (Ican’t use the name ) to sell some thing to seniors??? Is this stupid or what. And who is DNassar@aarp.org this guy seams to be the source of these strange e-mails. Is this how the whogamacallit beats it’ members into submission.

AARP owns and has used, since 1958, the AARP trademark and service mark for a number of goods and services including association services and other goods and services directed primarily to retired and senior persons. AARP has also registered the AARP mark, alone and in combination with other words, with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. AARP thus demands that you, your company, and any other person or business acting in concert with you:

(1) permanently and immediately cease and desist all use of the mark AARP and any other confusingly similar marks, alone or in combination with any other word(s), term(s), symbol(s) and/or design(s), as well as all false and misleading statements that lead consumers to believe that your company is connected with or endorsed or approved by AARP, or that AARP has endorsed any product or service that you promote;
(2) provide the name of the company that created the website;
(3) provide to us a list of all newspapers, periodicals, direct mailers, and other media in which you have used the AARP mark; and
(4) provide an accounting of the monies that your company has spent on advertising and promotion using the AARP mark.
Because “AARP” is a registered mark of AARP, it may only be used with permission. For this as well as other reasons, AARP carefully controls and monitors the use of its name.

The President’s 2007 Budget continues his commitment to fighting and winning the War on Terror, protecting the homeland, and advancing the cause of freedom across the globe. Its policies also promote a strong U.S. economy and support important domestic initiatives, such as improving our schools and reducing the cost of health care. As in past budget proposals, the President is focusing taxpayer dollars on these priorities, and enforcing additional spending restraint elsewhere across the Federal Government. By holding Federal programs to a firm test of accountability, we are taking the steps necessary to achieve deficit reduction goals and promote our economy’s expansion.


we are not winning the war on terror. As long as the George Walker Bush Administration is pushing the basic SADISTIC NE-CON EVANGELICAL ACTIVISTS line of human rights the George Walker Bush Administration’s middle eastern foreign policy is DOA. The track record of the George Walker Bush Administration in the area of child Poverty is well known.

Why are there so many poor in AMERICA ?????

One measure of how well off a person is doing money wise is to look at the persons spending habits. When the money is tight the spending for ” consumer non essentials” is cut to the minimum.


The 2007 Overview

says :

These Republicans are good at the Tax game. These folks understand the concept of cost shifting. The RNC / Cato/Heritage boys have managed to figure out how bleed more money from the working Poor . To pay for a massive Tax break for the top 1% of all tax payers.

That’s 60% to the top 1 % ?????????

This is how the Stock Market is supposed to benefit all right??? How can the middle class grow if these folks are being squeezed by rising energy costs flat wages rising interest rates on their consumer debit and their ARM style mortgages . Oh the sucking sound of AMERICAN production jobs going to China is getting louder and louder. Mean while the pay check of the middle income worker goes down.

What is the state of the AMERICAN Economy???? Does Bush have a clue??????
